This month, we are shining a light on two dedicated members of the Brighton Golf Course team who help make our club such a welcoming and vibrant place to play.
Charlotte: Passionate About the Game
With a lifelong passion for golf that began at the age of nine, Charlotte brings incredible experience and enthusiasm to our course. A former Runner Up Club Champion at Yarra Yarra Golf Club, she loves sharing her knowledge with players of all ages and abilities.
Charlotte is especially dedicated to encouraging women to pick up a club. Her message to beginners is simple: don’t feel intimidated; everyone is welcome. She is a huge advocate for our thriving community of women golfers, including the wonderful group that plays every Thursday.
For those looking to start their journey, Charlotte highly recommends the beginner clinics run by our Head Professional, Luke. Whether you’ve been playing for 10 years or 10 minutes, Charlotte’s inclusive approach is all about making you feel confident and connected.

Tommy Mazzoni: From the Range to the Pro Shop
Many of you will recognise Tommy Mazzoni, who joined the Brighton team over four years ago. Starting out as a “range kid,” Tommy has worked his way up to become a key fixture in the Pro Shop.
Known for his friendly nature and sharp wit, Tommy manages our Friday morning openings and looks after our players from Wyuna Golf Club and the Brighton GC ladies’ competition. When he isn’t at the course, Tommy is busy studying construction engineering or coaching the Brighton Grammar U16 cricket squad.
While his own game has seen some serious improvement over the summer, he remains a die hard Magpies fan, so feel free to chat footy with him next time you’re checking in!

Whether you need a tip on your swing from Charlotte or a friendly welcome from Tommy, our team is here to help you make the most of your next round.
