NAIDOC Week is a national event held in the first week of July each year. It celebrates and recognises the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This week offers an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest continuous living cultures on earth.
This year's NAIDOC Week theme, "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud, and Proud," celebrates the unyielding spirit of our Indigenous communities. Over the last 12 months BlueFit has been working with Reconciliation Australia to create our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we are currently in the final design stages and look forward to launching this important project within our local communities in the coming months.
