BlueFit – New management at Brighton Golf Course

The Brighton Golf Course is a landmark facility in Brighton, enjoyed by the local community and visitors alike.

As you may now be aware, leisure facility specialist, BlueFit, will be assuming management of the Brighton Golf Course as of Saturday, 1st July, 2023.

BlueFit proudly operates over 40 facilities across Australia, promoting a family culture and commitment towards its motto of ‘Inspiring Community Activity’. You can find out more about us at www.bluefit.com.au

Upon transition, there you may notice a few changes, but on the whole, it will very much be a case of “play on”. There will be a small annual price increase that comes into effect as of Saturday, as is currently advertised in the Pro Shop, but the opening hours, facilities, memberships, visit pass and casual access will remain the same. You will also see the same friendly faces around down at the golf course!

New Online Bookings
One significant and exciting change to look forward to will be a change to booking procedures and payment processing for non-competition golf. BlueFit will be implementing a brand new, best-in-class, online golf booking system for casual golfers at Brighton. We will take care of the bulk of the administration for you and will pre-register you within the new system.

You can expect to receive an email in the coming days from Golf-Booking.com which will ask you to activate your account. After activation, you will be able to access a dashboard on the platform and make course bookings when they become available. Below you will find detailed instructions on how to book your tee time online.

Important Transition Information
Given we assume management tomorrow there are a few important things to note for the first few weeks of operations.
  • No booking process changes for club bookings.
If you are playing within one of our many golf clubs, your tee time booking system will remain as is. Please continue to book your tee time as per your current process.
  • You will be getting a new membership card.
For the first week or so, your existing card won’t need to be scanned. Check-in manually at the Pro Shop upon arrival and from week two we will begin to issue your new cards.
  • You will need to set up your online Golf-Booking account.
You can set up your Golf-Booking.com account as soon as you receive the email from them, but tee times will not be available for online booking for the first few days. In the meantime, book as you normally would by calling us or popping into the Pro Shop.
  • Bookings will now be paid in advance.
Online bookings made through the convenient new booking system will need to be paid for at the time of booking. But don’t worry, you can cancel anytime within 24 hours of your tee time for a full refund.
  • Unexpected course closures.
If you have booked and paid in advance, and we need to close the course due to it being unplayable or extreme weather events, you will be credited for the missed round.
We understand that you will have questions regarding this transition, so we will be developing some frequently asked questions over the weekend to publish on your new-look website which will be published tomorrow. You will find the new website at the same address: brightongolfcourse.com.au

If you have any questions about the transition, please email us at brightongolf@bluefit.com.au otherwise the team will see you at the course from tomorrow.

We look forward to meeting all Brighton golfers on the greens and building a great connection with the community.
